Product Details

Adult Black BJJ Belt with Red Bar

Black Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu belt. Thick and stiff, featuring a dedicated rank bar for stripes.

The BJJ black belt is the 5th rank of advancement, referred to as the master's belt. In Portuguese, the black belt is called Faixa Preta.

How long does it take to earn a black belt in BJJ?

Many believe the average training time to earn a black belt is around 10 years. However, some athletes manage to achieve it in a significantly shorter period. According to sources, the fastest to receive a black belt was Travis Stevens, a US Judo Olympian who earned his BJJ black belt in just 18 months.

Difference between rank bars

A black belt with a white bar signifies a "Fighter" status, while a red bar represents an instructor rank for a black belt.

  • Belt width: 4.5 cm
  • Made of heavy-duty cotton
  • Red rank bar
  • Patch with Ground Game logo and jiu-jitsu kanji
