Ground Game Cup 8 – Baltic & Eastern Europe Championship and Contender Let's Play 4 are behind us

Although the excitement after Ground Game Cup 8 and Contender Let's Play 4 is slowly settling down, the numbers and feedback from participants leave no doubt: this was one of the most important events on the Polish Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu map this year.

Record turnout and international level

This year's edition attracted a record number of over 1,100 entries to Suwałki from athletes representing Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, and Ireland. The international lineup turned the mats into a battleground for various fighting styles and schools, significantly raising the athletic bar.

Among the winners, Ground Game Crew athletes delivered strong performances. Mateusz Kuca won the Open Men NO GI Elite Pro category, while Mantas Daublys took 1st place in the Open Men GI Elite Pro category.

High athletic quality and tangible rewards are the Ground Game Cup standard

What truly sets Ground Game Cup apart from other tournaments is that distinct, hard-to-replicate vibe where professional organization meets pure passion for the sport. Thanks to clear rules and great discipline from the competitors themselves, everything went without a hitch, while the hosts' warm hospitality made Suwałki a place everyone simply wants to return to.

Every tournament participant received a starter pack sponsored by the Ground Game. The top finishers in the Open categories took home not only cash prizes, but also a ticket to compete at the Let's Play 4 gala.

Contender for Let's Play 4

The day before the tournament was equally packed with excitement. The Contender selection fights for the Let's Play 4 gala delivered a high-octane dose of adrenaline to the fans and served as a perfect opportunity for up-and-coming fighters to showcase their skills.
